Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemicswill have long term effects on EU competition law. It has speeded up in a decisive way the discussions and preparatory works on new competition tools that all will be applied beforehand. i.e. ex-ante.
Foreign state owned companies and online platforms in a position of internet gatekeepers will be subjected to them.
