Abstract

The book deals with the preaching programme of Brethrenʼs bishop Jan Augusta in the context of the Bohemian and European Reformation homiletics. It explores his postil commonly known as the Summovnik [Summarium] (1556/57, printed 1570) that is the oldest preserved postil of the Unity of Brethren.
