Abstrakt
'scale_it' is an open source program (written in graphical programming language Pure data and in Faust) that allows sonification of a time series signal's distribution in real time. The set of objects sonifies the chosen signal using a variety of predetermined musical tone scale, ranging from 2 to 12 steps.
The version 0.2 features substantial improvements, most importantly the newly added function - possibility to output real-time stream of MIDI notes on top of the former audio output.
