Certain issues of appraising corporations undergoing reorganisation in the context of the new law on expert witness

Abstract
This article concerns preparation of expert appraisals in in insolvency proceedings, specifically in the process of corporate reorganisation. Referring to specific insolvency proceedings as an example, the authors identify factors affecting the quality of the expert report, analyse their impact on the course of the proceedings, and outline possible solutions to mitigate the negative effects of the new legislation governing the activities of certified experts, which comes into effect on 1 January 2021.
