Abstract
The report summarizes the history of the journal Právněhistorické studie. It contains interesting data about number of papers issued in the journal and deals with prominent personalities that influenced the image of the journal throughout its more than half-century long history.
In 2020 this peer-reviewed professional journal celebrated an important anniversary - the readers had the opportunity to take in their hands the 50th year edition of this journal which focuses on legal history. The history of what is today a journal, which was earlier being published as an anthology, began in 1955.
The anthology was published irregularly. Since 2014 Právněhistorické studie were already published twice a year and since 2020 there are three issues yearly.
