The aim of the paper is to provide a reflection of changes in the subject of teaching practice II. taught at the Faculty of Education of Charles University related with the pandemic in March 2020, which caused closure of schools at all levels. In the first part, the text describes the course conditions valid before the start of lockdown.
The second part of the paper states what changes had to take place later in order forstudents to be able to successfully complete the course in the standard period of study. The third part describeseducational tools used by faculty teachers together with students in practice of teaching at one primary school in the capital city of Prague.
It turned out that the system works and could be an inspiration for further cooperation. It follows from the above that in this case it was possible to respond to the current needs of pupils and students and to provide meaningful and functional distance learning for both primary pupils and university students.
