Phenomenology without theology. On D. Janicaud's book Le tournant théologique de la phénoménologie française

Abstract

The study summarizes D. Janicaud's objections addressed to Levinas and other authors of so-called theological turn, and then completes the discussion by presenting the perspectives of the criticized authors.

It demonstrates that there was no theological turn in the sense that Janicaud gives to this term.
