Abstract
The entry contains an overview and description of the main elements of international conventions in the field of telegraphy, telephony, telecommunications and later electronic communications, including multilateral intergovernmental conventions establishing international organizations in this field, such as the International Telecommunication Union ITU which is the United Nations specialized agency, the GSM Association GSMA or the Independent Regulators Group IRG; these organizations define the standards used in the field of electronic communications. The text also includes the definition of the bodies of the Czech Republic active in the field of electronic communications in international relations.
