This paper. in the theoretical component, presents information from the field of study on Autism Spectrum Disorder and from the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and the development of verbal behavior. The practical component presents an example of good practice, where it aims to pass on the experience of introducing and leading classrooms in a special education primary school where students with autism spectrum disorder are educated using an applied behavior analytic approach focused on developing students' verbal behavior.
The project classrooms established by the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Services Network (PaTTAN) project were the inspiration for the development and management of these classrooms.
