Dual Torah, Scripture and tradition: observations to parallel between Jewish and catholic concepts

Abstract

Both Rabbinic-Jewish and Roman-Catholic concepts of Revelation exhibit certain similarities in their twofold system of a Scripture and of an Oral tradition.These similarities draw on a shared paradigm of logos, a Hellenistic idea of God?s eternal principle handed over to people. The logos identified in Christianity with Jesus Christ, in Rabbinism with Moses?s Torah, leads to some structural similarities
