Author's response to the letter about the article: Hearing screenings for pre-school children: A comparison between whispered voice and pure tone audiogram tests

Abstrakt
The authors agree with the commentary that the voice test could be recommended for use by primary health care workers in developing countries where access to standard audiometric methods for hearing assessment are restricted. On the other hand, in the pre-school hearing loss screening, the pure tone audiogram should be preferred if the facilities for pure tone audiogram exist.
