Abstract
The book of 53 case reports from the neonatal period describes the most frequent problems from the different areas of full-term and late preterm newborns. The studied patients are from clinical practice at hospitals of all levels from different regions in the Czech Republic.
Besides patients' stories the authors add an overview of the diseases, differential diagnosis, ways and possibilities of current treatment, many pictures, and tables. The book is meant not only for medical students and young paediatricicians, but also for neonatologicsts.
