Abstract
On the morning of December 2, 2020, prof. MUDr.
Václav Zeman, CSc., former long-term head of the Department of Sports Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Pilsen, had lost his fight against the consequences of the coronavirus infection. His co-workers will never forget the friendly work climate, his sense of humor and the exemplary efforts with which he was able to cope with his health problems in the last years of his life.
