Extraordinary reduction and extraordinary increase of imprisonment

Abstract

The paper deals with modifications of legal regulations on imprisonment in the Czech legislation. First, the regulation of an extraordinary increase in the sentence of imprisonment (Recidivism of a particularly serious crime; Imposition of a sentence of imprisonment on the perpetrator of a crime committed in favor of an organized criminal group; exceptional and punishment of multiple acts of multiple crimes) is approached.

The second part of the article deals with individual cases of extraordinary reduction of imprisonment, respectively, criminal measures against juvenile offenders.
