Abstract
The Basics of double bass playing : Jiří Hudec - Methodology with photo documentation. - A book that contains basic information about playing double bass. It is written according to the methodology of prof.
Jiří Hudec, a teacher at the AMU in Prague and at the Royal Academy of Music in Manchester. All procedures in the teaching of double bass are described in the book and accompanied by graphic photographs.
The publication includes a familiarization with the instrument, a description and holding, tools and strings, a basic technique of left and right hand, an overview of bass positions, vibrato training. It is intended primarily for pupils and teachers of elementary art schools .
