Abstract
A peer-reviewed publication by the American professor of Talmudic culture, Daniel Boyarin (born 1946), was published as another monograph in a series in the Key Words of Jewish Studies series, which aims to clarify the boundaries of research and the current state of Jewish studies. The subject of the publication is an analysis of the term "Judaism", which the author considers to be the most key in the field of Jewish studies and emphasizes its constructed and abstract meaning, which he said came under the influence of Christian Church Fathers in the 4th and 5th centuries. it was not known in their own language until the 15th century.
