The article deals with the description of valency of particles in common spoken Czech, i.e. their ability to bind to other words in a sentence, or to a sentence as a whole, which is closely related to the place in the sentence order. Furthermore, it focuses on the accumulation of particles within a sentence, which from the point of view of syntagmatics is mainly textual capturing only randomly repeating textual combinations of two or more particles next to each other, as opposed to systemic, which results in multiword particles.
However, both processes point to combinatorial possibilities of particles. Finally, the immediate surroundings of all particles that occur in Prague Spoken Corpus is presented.
