Ban on the Seventh-Day Adventist Church : an example of persecution of Free Churches in Czechoslovakia

Abstract

This article deals with a development of relations between state and party authorities and the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Czechoslovakia. The author first sketches the situation after the World War II and then decribes the process of elimination of religious freedom under the communist government which led also to action against the Seventh Day Adventists.
