How not to creatively deal with authentic literary texts in the teaching of the Czech language to foreigners

Abstract

The author considers the suitability or unsuitability of the use of adapted Czech literary texts in the teaching of Czech to foreigners, at the A2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. He comes to the opinion that the non-adapted text has a much better effect on the emotional string of students and creates a real aesthetic experience for them.
