Abstrakt
The review praises Ulrich Stadler's study of Kafka's Poetics as the best publication on Franz Kafka in recent years. Stadler does not fall into the error of a comprehensive deciphering of Kafka's texts, because he does not subject them to an unambiguous allegory, but rather deals with their 'design' and leaves them both their openness and their contradictions.
