Abstract

The structures of elementary spatial frames of biblical narrative worlds are the primary objects of this study. The main effort went into narratological theory with an intention to set up an adequate methodological tool to acquire a concrete theological meaning of narrative biblical worlds.

The principal source of this work originates from the theory of the fictional worlds of Lubomír Doležel. Based on his conception, a typology of the main spatial frames of narrative worlds in the story of the fall of man in the book of Genesis is determined.

The final typology also presents the characteristics of each elementary type of biblical narrative world.
