Utilization of CT and ultrasonography in the imaging of TIPIC syndrome (carotidynia)

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to raise awareness of a rare and not well known cause of unilateral pain and swelling of the neck - the transient perivascular inflammation of the carotid artery syndrome.
