Abstract
The review introduces readers to the publication of Lubomír Tyllner and Zdeněk Vejvoda Czech Folk Song: History, Analysis, Typology, that presents the results of research into the musical material of more than five thousand tunes and melodies from the Czech regions. Based on them, the authors described characteristic and marginal phenomena and defined Czech song types.
