"Last will is a commandment that must be holy for everybody." The final episode of "Slovácko sa nesúdí" in the light of the General Civil Code

Abstract
The paper deals with legal analysis of the final episode of the popular television series of the Czechoslovak Television "Slovácko sa nesúdí", in which inheritance law is an important plot element. The story of this episode, which takes place in the last years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, revealed several interesting questions related to the inheritance issues, which are confronted in the paper with the then legal regulation, which was represented by the General Civil Code.
The paper proves that law can be found in popular culture and asks whether the lawyers, or more precisely legal historians, should also be included in production teams.
