Publication |
2020

Abstract

The introductory chapter discusses theoretical fundaments of the monograph. It expplains the concept of collective remembrance as one of the axes of group identity, which - in the case of minorities -allows to follow intersections between minorities and majority.

Using examples from Romani (Gypsy) and Jewish communities, the text reveals an arch of ethnoemancipatory processes and an ivolvement of music in it.
