Abstract
The chapter draws attention to the deep roots of some phenomena that we are used to associating with anthropocene. It is not a normative act, ie an attempt to define a time limit for the beginning of an epoch.
It focuses on evolutionary events, through which the anthropocene situation arose gradually.
