Abstract
Publication "Worn proudly. Sokol costume, gym suit and theatrical costume" summarizes the history of Sokol clothing in the context of historical events.
The Department of History of Physical Education and Sports at the National Museum introduces the development of male and female festive costumes and their exercises based on the rich Sokol collections. One chapter is devoted to pupils' and adolescent clothing.
The final chapter of the publication focuses on theatrical Sokol creation, especially the scenic execution of the scenes performed on all-Sokol slets and on their costume designs.
