Abstract

The study focuses on the specific issue of the re-actualisation of the past during the time after the establishment of the first Czechoslovak Republic. The return of "the religious emigrants" in 1920-1928 relate closely not only tohe "White Mountain myth" but also to J.

A. Comenius "second life".

The so-called "expiating the battle of White Mountain" resonated in the political and cultural life of the Czech society in the last decades of the 19th century. Nevertheless, after 1918, thanks to the birth of the nation state, the topic gained completely ab new contexts.

Collectively referring as a re-emigration proces, we could ad dan adjective to it "ideological" reemigration.
