Abstract

The submitted text analyses the presently ongoing discussion in the CR regarding the endangered child and current forms of care for him. The author uses her many years of experience as a psychologist working in this field and indicates concrete examples from practice.

She compares the positives as well as negatives of individual forms of care of the endangered child, describes the most common forms of children's reactions on foster family care and mentions current discussions on the topic of temporary foster care. In the text's conclusion, the author provides a few significant recommendations that could improve the position of the endangered child in the CR.
