Abstract
Author deals with the stylisation of spoken Czech as it is practised on contemporary Czech theatre. Well-balanced coocurence of standard and non-standard language features is very important for the impressiveness of certain staging and, of course, its success.
Author distinguishes and evaluate different levels of mentioned stylisations and illustrates her thesis on the material of certain plays performed in the Czech National Theatre.
