Abstract
The text is an introduction to the works of Růžena Vacková. It reflects her approach to avant-garde, based on her article "Příští umělečtí klasikové podle užitkové filozofie", published in revue Tak (issue 1, 1937, no. 4, 19. 2., p. 89-90) and also her methodological background, which motivates it.
This (opening) study's goal is to show the author in the context of her political and aesthetic beliefs and contribute to discussion about left-wing art and its criticism.
