Topic-focus articulation in one type of a text

Abstract

The paper deals with the topic - focus articulation in the so-called mathematical word problems. Comparing of the wording variations of identical word problems has shown that while their T - F articulation (which can be shown as a thematic progression) can be changed/varied, their underlying structure (mathematical information articulation) is stable.

The fact that word problems are based on a static non-language structure can be considered the cardinal property of this text type.
