Abstract

Sterility is defined as the inability to conceive after 12 months or more of unprotected sexual intercourse. The use of assisted reproduction technologies is on the rise in the Czech Republic, the numbers growing every year.

However, there are couples who prefer a natural way to spontaneous conception, and physiotherapy has an important role here. So far, its application is not widely recognized among gynaecologists.

Considering the historical experience with the Mojzis method, it is necessary to once again point out how present-day physiotherapy can contribute to sterility treatment.
