Abstrakt
We support the utilization of US for screening ACL disorders, provided the proper scanning technique as described above is used. A limitation of the US evaluation of the ACL is that only the mid and distal portions can be readily visualized.
Another limitation is that not all patients presenting with knee pain are capable of the knee flexion that is necessary to obtain adequate images.
