Abstract

On June 14, 1964, basically formal elections to the National Assembly (NS) were held in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. František Kriegel, the head of the Thomayer Hospital in Prague-Krč, became one of the three hundred deputies.

Numerous remarks and notes from the time he left behind testify to his approach to the tasks of a Member of Parliament. Many of the attitudes and opinions that brought him in August 1968 can also be revealed from them
