The First Notes on the Second Khartoum Mesolithic Cemetery at Jebel Sabaloka (Sudan)

Abstract

The paper presents the first detailed description of the second large burial ground of hunter-gatherers in the western part of Jebel Sabaloka and discusses the significance of the finds of both burial sites for the understanding of social developments in central Sudan during the early and mid-Holocene.
