Abstract

Multiple sclerosis in children and adolescents is a chronic, inflammatory autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. In 2014, the International Panel of Experts (IPMSSG) published the current classification of MS in children and adolescents.

He identified two basic forms of MS: infantile multiple sclerosis (iMS) with an age limit of 11 years and adolescent multiple sclerosis (aMS) aged 11-18 years.
