Abstract
The author of the book deals with five representative protestant German-speaking theologians of the 20th century (Barth, Brunner, Tillich, Althaus, Iwand) and asks them questions concerning the fundamental theology (historical and natural revelation, faith and religion, theology and philosophy) and the soteriology, possibly eschatology (general offer of the salvation, its particular and universal realization). The monograph includes short biographies of these theologians and outlines of their work.
