Abstract
The first Czech translation of a 1937 metatheatrical play, in which Giraudoux uses actual figures of contemporary Parisian theatre - Louis Jouvet, the director of his plays, and the actors from his company - as characters. The translation is complemented by footnotes explaining various allusions in the text.
