Abstract
The paper is devoted to architectural concept of the Jan Palach's Memorial in Všetaty near Prague by MCA Architects, called "The Edge". It is based on an expression of the new sharp form but also on the symbolic language.
Question is, which message of these two, the expression or the symbolics, is understable better for visitors.
