Abstract
Oldřich Ševčík, well-known theorist of architecture, claims that it is necessary to build the high new buildings in Prague because it is a typical phenomenon of the contemporary metropolitan architecture. Nonetheless, this opinion is extremely dangerous for the historical skyline of Prague.
