Abstract
A ppt presentation during the semestrial Children University, organised by the Faculty of Arts, Charles University during the spring semester 2020/2021 for pupils of the primary schools. This presentation (February 27, 2020) explained to the pupils the history of interpreting, the differents types of interpretation, the role of interpreters and how they work (sigth translation, consecutive interpretation with note-taking, simultaneous interpretation were showed them).
The pupils had also the possibility to test themself in the booths some simultaneous interpretation in the Czech-Czech language combination. This "class" was about 90 minutes.
