Abstract
The topic of the study are the principles, backround and current form of children's education in the Internation Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). It deals with the position and situation of children in the history of ISKCON in the world and in the Czech Republic.
It recalls key historical milestones, such as resolution of cases of child abuse in ISKCON gurukulas in the 1970s and 1980s. It recalls the uncuccessful effort to establish a gurukula at Krišnův dvůr in Městečko u Benešova.
Main part focuses on curent educational methods, literature and forms of education in gurukulas and during the homeschooling.
