This article deals with some genre transformations of Polish reportage in recent years through the prism of one specific text - Jacek Hugo-Bader's A Long Film about Love. Return to Broad Peak (Długi film o miłości.

Powrót na Broad Peak, 2014). The theme "Poland in reportage after 1989" raises, among others, questions concerning methods of reporter's work or the specific genre of reportage itself.

The book by Jacek Hugo-Bader actually provokes questions about various limits to which Polish reportage has reached and with which today is "struggling" - genre boundaries, methodological, ethical, etc. This article focuses especially on two boundaries: "borders of a reportage" as a genre and " boundaries of the reporter" as the author of the text (for example on reporter's approach to the topic or his relation to the characters of the reportage, on the complex ethic of the reporter or more broadly understood journalistic method).
