Abstract
The text briefly presents the development and gradual transformation of both structural forms of Prague Polish Studies and particular directions of literary, linguistic and historical research realized by Prague Polish Studies scholars. Like other small fields of studies, nowadays Polish Studies face the question of what direction to take.
From the initially rather philologically oriented studies we are heading to a more territorial and interdisciplinary concept of study.
