Vinohrady and Žižkov seen by historical censuses - an area full of contrasts. Vinohrady and Žižkov are two neighbouring Prague districts, which belonged to the first suburbs of Prague in the 19th century.
Even though they developed at the same time, they differ significantly, which is evident to the present day. Using data from historical population censuses, as well as accompanying visual materials, the text shows how these neighbourhoods differ, especially in their social structure.
