Abstract

The purpose of our work is to create an interactive chemistry course for lower secondary schools (8-9th grades) using information and communication technologies (ICT), working on the educational website of an educational organization. The study of the effectiveness of the selected model of the interactive course was carried out in the period from 15.11.2018 to 1.03.2020 on specialized school-board information technologies in Karaganda (Kazakhstan) as well as three Czech schools: secondary school (Liberec), first private language gymnasium (Hradec-Kralove), secondary school (Chyne).

There were 126 respondents (8-9th grades), which took part in verification the interactive materials. Their age ranged from 13 to 15 years old.

In this article, we selected and described examples, and possible ways to use for the development interactive teaching methods and tools. Prepared interactive lessons and guidelines for them might help improve the effectiveness of teaching chemistry in school, and, above all, the development of students ' cognitive activity as a necessary quality for their future research work.
