Abstract
Many students regard geometry as a relatively unnecessary theory. We offer several themes that have their roots in the past and could show the utility of geometry in practice and encourage interest in its use in our world.
Some of the first geometric shapes that our ancestors noticed and started consciously using them, are the circles. From them you can easily get to other interesting curves, such as the ellipse.
