Abstract

The book is for everyone who likes to make use of information and communication technologies and who would like to learn important, interesting and current information about chemistry via didactic software; mainly students and teachers for chemistry education at ISCED 2 level. The first part of the book describes information and communications technology (ICT) and the effectiveness of the learning process using ICT.

The second part describes interactive methods in chemistry lessons such as interactive lectures, interactive tasks and games which help increasing the cognitive activity of students and the effectiveness of the learning process for lower secondary schools. The third part characterizes the chemistry course and the examples of interactive subject matter from our course - text, pictures, animation, questions and tasks.

The subject matter is highly engaging and interactive to enforce deeper student learning, and the process of administering subject matter as much effortless as possible and is thus user-friendly for both teachers and students.
