The abstract summarizes the paper presented at the conference "Subject Didactics and Undergraduate Teacher Training at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University", which took place on 27-28 November 2020. The aim of the paper is to define and critically evaluate the topic of values in the Czech education system and to offer pedagogical inspiration in the form of specific examples from practice, where the methodology of Value Education Cyril Mooney is applied.
Subsequently, the authors outline the possibilities of using value education in the university training of teachers across disciplines.
